Topps Signs Exclusive Long-Term Trading-Card, Sticker, Trading Card Game Licensing Deal with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation
Partnership Will Begin in 2028 and Includes Men’s, Women’s and Youth National Teams
Today Topps and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) announced an exclusive long-term trading card, sticker, trading card games (TCG) and accessories licensing deal, a historic partnership celebrating both fans and collectors that will begin in 2028 – and go beyond the 2034 men’s World Cup.
Topps will produce these products for the men’s, women’s and youth national teams, giving the brand the right to use the names, logos and crests that appear on SAFF shirts. The license also authorizes exclusive collective player rights, allowing the names and images of national team players during competition to be featured in products. This includes sought-after patch, autograph and match-worn relic cards.
Topps recently announced an exclusive collectibles deal with FIFA, with the agreement starting in 2031. Saudi Arabia will host the men’s World Cup in 2034, the first men’s World Cup of Topps’ FIFA deal.
“Saudi football is experiencing unprecedented growth, both on and off the pitch, and this partnership with Topps reflects the increasing global interest in our national teams and football ecosystem,” said Yasser Al Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. “By partnering with a world-leading collectibles company and the iconic Topps brand, we will create meaningful new ways for fans to connect with our players and teams. Through innovative products, as well as exclusive Saudi national team trading card collections and special-edition collectible boxes, we will celebrate our football history while bringing supporters closer to the game.”
“Topps is excited to bring its incredible innovation to this landmark partnership, developing unique products that will help bring fans closer to their favorite national players,” said David Leiner, President of Trading Cards, Topps. “The growth of the Saudi collectibles market has been explosive – one of the fastest-growing regions in the world in the space – and together we hope to elevate the collector experience and continue to grow the hobby in the Gulf.”
Topps’ exclusive global soccer partners include FIFA (starting in 2031), the Premier League, Bundesliga, UEFA club competitions and Major League Soccer. Topps also holds trading card licenses with top worldwide sports properties including the NFL (started April 2026), NBA (started October 2025), MLB, Formula 1, WWE and UFC.
