Next Scores Big For Sports Fans in New Partnership with Fanatics

Fanatics, a digital sports platform and global leader in licensed sports merchandise and NEXT, one of the UK’s leading online retailers, have announced a new long-term connected inventory partnership. A partnership that will significantly broaden the officially-licensed sport merchandise assortment available at next.co.uk.

For the first time ever in Europe, Fanatics will partner with a major retailer to give its customers access to Fanatics’ industry-leading range of licensed sports merchandise. Featuring thousands of products from the top leagues and sporting organisations across the world, including clubs from all major European football leagues, international football teams, Rugby, Formula 1, NFL, NBA and the MLB.

Matthew Primack, Senior Vice-President for International Business Affairs and Development at Fanatics, said: “This new partnership with NEXT, one of the most popular retailers in the UK, will mean that its customers will now have access to one of the widest ranges of licensed sports merchandise available. This is great news for customers who already visit Next.co.uk to shop for quality clothing and homeware and who will now also be able to also choose from a range of products, designs and styles from their favourite sports leagues, events, teams or players.”

Whilst Fanatics has a number of similar partnerships with retailers in the USA, powering licensed sports merchandise offering online for the likes of Foot Locker, Walmart, Kohls and Nordstrom, the partnership with NEXT is the first of its kind for Fanatics to launch in Europe. The partnership will see NEXT continue to power the front-end online experience and fulfilment to customers whilst utilising Fanatics’ expertise in licensed sports merchandise and the broad range of products it has available to increase the choice and selection for visitors to next.co.uk.

Fanatics partners with more than 900 of the largest sporting organisations, teams and leagues in the world including Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, The FA, England Rugby, UEFA, NFL, NBA and Formula 1. The new expanded licensed sports collection, which is now live on next.co.uk, has sizing and options for all members of the family and is highlighted by apparel, jerseys and headwear, across a wide-ranging portfolio of brands, such as Fanatics, Nike, adidas, Puma and New Era.
