Fanatics Commerce Strengthens Team with New Executive Appointments

Today, Fanatics Commerce, a leading designer, manufacturer, and seller of fan gear and part of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform, announced the appointment of three new executive leaders as the company moves towards its next phase of growth. 

Stephen Dowling joins Fanatics Commerce in a new role as President, International and will be responsible for continuing the growth of the Fanatics Commerce business outside of North America. Fanatics’ international presence has grown significantly in recent years, with the company now operating in more than eighty offices, manufacturing facilities and fulfilment centres across the world. Stephen, who will be based out of Fanatics’ Manchester, UK office, joins from Adidas, where he led digital growth. Prior to this, Stephen led the global direct-to-consumer e-commerce business at Unilever.

Valerie Love joins Fanatics Commerce as Chief People Officer, where she will be responsible for all strategic human resources initiatives for the business. Valerie was previously Senior Vice President of Human Resources at The Coca-Cola Company and has also held HR leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, Tyco Integrated Security, and General Motors. Valerie will be based out of Fanatics’ Jacksonville, FL office.

To lead Fanatics Commerce’s overall approach to consumer product management, Justin Tsai has joined the company in the newly created role of Chief Product Officer. Justin was most recently an operating executive for Silver Lake and prior to that, was Vice President of Product Management and Growth at GoDaddy. Justin will be responsible for innovating the fan experience on Fanatics’ owned e-commerce sites and will be working closely with the Fanatics technology team based in the company’s San Mateo, CA office.

Stephen, Valerie, and Justin will all report into Fanatics Commerce CEO Andrew Low Ah Kee.
