COMPLEX: NFL and Fanatics Unveil New Licensed Merch Line with Staple

As promised, the NFL and Fanatics have unveiled a new collection of licensed merch pieces with Staple.

Per Staple founder Jeff Staple, this 32-team rollout is part of the iconic brand’s continued celebration of its 25th anniversary.

“We wanted to ensure that there is a diversity of styles that reflects something unique for fans of each and every team,” the designer, who recently looked back on Staple’s journey in an interview with Mike DeStefano for Complex, said. “Although separate at the surface, there are actually many parallels between football and streetwear. Our goal was to showcase [that] connection.”

The collection is divided into three main groups: Core (which brings together the respective logos of Staple and all 32 teams), New Age Throwback (which focuses on modernizing the licensed merch experience), and Fundamentals (which is self-explanatory). Also included in the collection are headwear pieces from New Era, which are designed to complement an assortment ranging from t-shirts to hoodies…
