Fanatics Inc. is accelerating its push toward international expansion, aiming to grow its collectibles division, hire hundreds of new staff and eventually launch its sports betting business overseas.

Hundred of fans packed central London on Friday to see Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton unveil the company’s new store focused on trading cards and sports memorabilia.

Once dismissed as a quaint, fragmented hobby, collectibles have surged in popularity, drawing interest from investors, celebrities and athletes. A Hamilton trading card was recently valued at $1 million, while a Pittsburgh Pirates’ Paul Skenes baseball card fetched $1.1 million at an auction in March…
