HOUSTON CHRONICLE: Topps Truck drivers share stories from tour as they make their way to Astros’ Minute Maid Park

If you’re going to Friday’s Astros-Rangers game, your trip to Minute Maid Park won’t be more adventurous than the guys who work for Topps.

Topps’ Travis Bergstrom will be arriving at the ballpark in a 24-foot box truck his coworker Andrew Curtis compares to a “converted taco truck.” They’ll leave the tacos to the experts all over Houston though and stick to slinging Topps baseball cards on the third stop on the Topps Truck Tour that will hit all 32 major league ballparks this season.

The truck began the year in Florida, hitting a few spring training sites before stopping at Miami’s LoanDepot Park and Tampa Bay’s Tropicana Field and then jumping onto Interstate 10 to get to Texas…
