Fanatics Appoints Lauren Cooks Levitan as Chief Financial Officer

Based in Silicon Valley and reporting directly to Doug Mack, CEO of Fanatics, Levitan will utilize her deep financial experience and multi-channel retail expertise to drive ongoing growth across all divisions of the company. Levitan was most recently the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Moxie Capital LLC where she provided capital and advisory services to consumer-facing businesses that operated in wholesale, retail, eCommerce and direct sales.

She joined Cowen from Robertson Stephens, where she was a Managing Director covering specialty and multi-channel retail and was the first analyst to apply retail industry experience to the emerging online retail channel. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, she worked in various capacities in the retail industry at Crate & Barrel and the Gymboree Corporation gaining experience in merchandising, inventory management and store operations. Earlier in her career, Levitan worked in equity capital markets and investment banking at Goldman Sachs.

(January 21, 2015) – NASCAR, NASCAR Team Properties (NTP) and Fanatics jointly announced today a 10-year agreement for the sport’s at-track merchandise business that will deliver fans an enhanced, experiential shopping environment. As part of the agreement, Fanatics has acquired certain exclusive rights from NASCAR and NTP that will make the company the primary retailer of NASCAR, team and driver merchandise at all 38 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekends.

Industry Veteran Matt Madrigal Joins Fanatics as Chief Technology and Product Officer

August 20, 2014 – JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Fanatics, Inc., the world’s leading online retailer of officially licensed sports merchandise, today announced Matt Madrigal has joined the company as Chief Technology and Product Officer.  Based in San Francisco and reporting to Fanatics CEO Doug Mack, Madrigal will play a key role in shaping technology and mobile strategy, while expanding the company’s product development and data capabilities to support the next generation of growth for the sports eCommerce leader.

Madrigal was most recently SVP of eCommerce & Marketing for Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where he led all digital commerce and mobile technology functions for a portfolio of home furnishings brands, such as Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and West Elm, helping to grow the company’s eCommerce business to over two billion dollars in 2013.
